In Picton

It was warm and the town felt cosy. Jean Michel manage to get a lift from an hosteller who came to the landing stage to pick up some young Swiss fellow, Sam about 21; We already had noticed him as he was with us in the Tranz Scénic and later in the same backpacker in Wellington. So quite quickly here we were installed at ‘the Villa” a charming wooden house hidden behind flowers sharing a dorm and meeting Sarah a 28 years old English/Indian/Malaysian beautiful girl who soon offered to cook for the 4 of us if we felt like to share a real meal . We did . And while we were doing our own stuff ( washing cloths , preparing the blog, checking e- mails , walking around) she and Sam went shopping and prepared the most delicious meal and by 8pm we had in our plates steak and pepperoni and courgettes and POTATOES ( Yeh!!!) and wine of course in our glasses . We had a feast and the happiness to share was part of the Menu . Later on some other guests couldn’t resist joining and enjoying the strawberry ice cream!
