Martine Cole and her family

Martine is an artist, a French girl with Italian ascendance , who loves Ireland as much as I do ( which is a big lot) met bon the ferry between Cherbourg and Rosslare an Irish man who already had done 2 years in Australia . David holydaying in his native country was preparing to go back to his new land and so she agrred to follow as long as she could take with her her pictures, her collections of shells and stones . They were soon married . Then eligrate for good . They had as Michel and I , 3 daughters, Fiona(24) who lives in Perth , Amandine( 22) who recently choosed to move to Dublin and young Samantha only 11 this coming week who of course share with them their spacious and beautiful home in the quiet and green Perth suburb of Kelmscott . At garden level I leave in the “granny flat “ which is appropriate and where I have a living/ kitchen , a big bed room plus a bathroom plus a laundry for me alone . For once I had the space to empty the whole suitcase , to hang my clothes ( more and more every month!) in a closet , check the papers I carry without sometimes knowing why and I may even find the time to finish the 3 novels I carry as well in case I would like to read !!!!
