Je voudrais prendre le temps de voir, d'entendre et d'être pour faire la preuve que la foi attire toute sorte de miracles.

Asagusa Kannon Temple
It is the spiritual center of the city , not that holy anyway as it is a place of worship for asking commercial success ad good times ! Still we did all the rituals , washing our hands and fuming our heads! Writting down our prayers and hanging them . The temple as erected in 628 after 2 brothers fished out of the river Sumidagawa a golden image of Kannon . The brothers after this miracle became monks and founded the monastery There is some shops street inside , shops lying within the temple precinct along the stone paved approach hawk and you find everything there from the kitschiest souvenirs to genuine gems of Edo crafmanship . Old fans, traditional oiled-paper umbrellas, miniature old dolls, wooden combs, hair ornments all hand made , straw sandals, you name it ! We saw a man dressed as a geisha in a rickshaw , an actor going to the theatre maybe. He gently let me take a picture .
