In a sushi bar





For our first night Tatsuo decide to invite wife, daughter and friend in his favorite sushi bar where the cook with care and love following his own isnpiration prepares for each guest what he may appreciate the most . After some sashimi , raw pieces of fish to dip in soya sauce, we startes te sushi rounds ! Molding a small small fistful of cool lightly vinegared rice into a bite size morsel , smearing it with horseradish freshly grated , he tops it with a slice of ultra fresh raw fish. One order is 2 pieces of each kind. As the menu this night contained over 10 different type of fishes we had a feast ( prawn, abalone, sole, squid, octopus, salmon, herring, tuna , cockle, urchin , eel) Add some miso soup, tiny pieces of marinated green vegetables to help the digestion , the big amount of vinegared ginger to refresh the palate beetween the different tastes and profusion of green tea to weakened the effect of the 2 liters of sake and you will have an idea ! Not at all the same taste as in our japonese restaurants in Europe . A wonder .
