Cherry blossom party

Tatsuo is gone for 48 hours to teach journalism in the university where he works . A flight of 45 minutes as it is on the west coast. So we the ladies are going to the cherry blossom party organised in an other temple set in a beautiful garden . It is as well a Mandala Museum and a painter's school as Mrs Komine is one of the most reknown painter in Japan . Her husband , a bouddhist monk is in charge of the Kanzoin Temple where she has her own school . And where she organised the Museum . Tjhe collection consists of works of Japanese and Nepalese bouddhist painting and Sanskrip scripts and focusing on the different kinds of mandala . It is mainly the work of Eisuke Somekawa and of his students . A mandala can take him up to 18 years of work ! He is considered the greatest Japanese Bouddhist painter . You see me here with Mrs Komine who herself paints days and nights - as she sleeps only 3 hours for years dies she say - in front of one of his mandala. Herslef paints beautifully . We promised each other to meet again in Katmandu where she goes regularly. Her own mother 94 years old and still very active is as well renownned for her graphic works.
