Monica's news

Monica from Rockhampton wrote Last weekend I had a nice experience. I went to Bundaberg which is 300km south of Rocky. The beach there is famous for nesting of big sea turtles and now is hatching time. So I saw about 120 little turtles coming out of the sand an marching into the sea - it was close to be moving - seeing these little creatures (about 5cm long) full of energy disappearing in the rough sea - where they stay for the next 20-30 years and then come back as adults (measuring 1m!!) for nesting. Yes, this was very impressive - the whole combination of the full moon, the rough sea, the turtles and all the eager people around (whole families) waiting hours to see this performance of nature!!
