A magical place

It is impossible to describe the impact of this sanctuary . Miajima. Keep this name in your heart and if once you come to Japan do not miss it . It is so splendifiscent . Built in 1114- by a very young governor Taira No Kiyomori in order to gain the protection of the 3 sea goddesses of the Itsukushima Island in the Inland Sea . It became through the years a splendid shrine rivaling the palaces of the capital . It is built on a beach. A massive vermillon gate stands in the bay itself . My body experienced a lot of energy work there and it left me more serene joyful and full than ever, knowing this was marking the end of the first part of the long protected spiritual trip . It was such a blessing that I can't tell you more except to come and see for yoursleves the beauty of it all . It was pouring rain but for me it was likebeeing baptised ! To let you see how it can be, here is a picture taken the day before by a young Chris I met that night at an other J.Hoppers Hostel .
