Quand nous avons ramené la grand mère chez elle de l'autre côté de la rue , j'ai vu dans quel confort les japonais qui vivent encore à l'ancienne le font . Elle a dans son salon sa table couverture . il y a un sous sol chauffant qui fait que les pieds sont tojours au cahud . la couverture empêche la chaleur de s'"chapper . les jambes sont constemment au chaud . La grand mère pense que d'avoir toujours les pieds chauds la maintient en super forme ( pieds chaud et sake chaud : bonne devise . j'ai admiré en
passant son petit autel où brûlaient et bougie et encens .When we went back home at the grand mother I saw not only her prayer corner and her bouddha but as well her heated table !
As you can see the floor is deeper under the table and there there is a heater ( it used to be be charcoal , now it is electric ) To keep the feet and the legs warm a balwquet surrounds the table and rests on your knees . Grand ma thinks it is is why she has such good legs . She still dances you see . I was amazed by the real confort of her house and was dreaming such a table could be installed in ballyconneeky bay !
