D'or si c'est le Kinkaku, le principal élement du temple Rohuon-ji. En 1220 c'était la villa confortable de Kintsune Saionji. En 1394 le shogun d'Ashikaga, Yoshimitsu, commença à construire Kitayamaden dans ce site splendide . A sa mort, en accord avec son souhait , Kitamayen devint un temple zen mais tout est aujourd'hui détruit sauf Kinkaku et le jardin qui est resté tel qu'il était il y a des centaines d'années !!!
Golden as this one Kinkaku ( the golden Pavillon) which is the popular name for the Rokuon-ji Temple . It was buillt in 1220 for Kintsune Saionji , developped in 1397 by the 3rd Shogun of Ashikaga, Yoshimitsuwho had abdicatded the throne in 1394 and indulged in a peaceful life in this wonderful setting . At his death, following his will it became a zen temple . The temple buildings except this one all came to ruin but the gardens are still the same to enjoy .
