Rentrer à Alleypey dans la famille du Palmy Resort, c'était comme de revenir à la maison. Nous n'étions là que pour deux nuits , juste le temps de dire merci . MERCI à la grand mère toujours serviable et souriante , à l'aide cuisinière qui râpe dès l'aube ses noix de coco, aux enfants, Matthew et Rosemary , discrets et aimables, au grand père toujours attentif et soucieux des détails , au mari qui sait, au meilleur coût, nous obtenir bateau, canot, rickshaw, mais surtout merci à Mercy pour son cœur grand ouvert, sa générosité sans limite, son silence chargé de pudeur.
Loïs a été évidemment reçu ici comme un roi , comme partout à vrai dire , par les hommes en particulier :le fait qu'il soit un garçon y est pour quelque chose, nous a t-il semblé !!!
Once more we stayed at the Palmy Lake Resort just long enough to say thank you : thank you to the grand mother always smiling and welcoming, the grand father always caring and checking, the children so easy and discreet, the husband always happy to fight for a good deal in our behalf , the cook who every morning at dawn starts to grate the coco for the day , but above all, thanks to wonderful Mercy whose heart is so big that it can embrace all and understand everyone , thank you for her smiles, her silences full of the words she could no dare to say , her endless generosity , her spiritand her grâce. Of course Lois was treated as a little prince . Men seem to care even more about him I think it had to do with the male factor .
