At the hotel

« Never saw this before ! » Would they be 60 or 85 this is what we hear most . Never saw that before! It was not my case . I was in Manila last year only some hours after the typhoon. And was amazed to witness how quickly the daily life went on. It would be the same here. In the hotel’s courtyard the trees are down but already all the family and staff are taking care of it . No insurances around this part of the world but each family leaving in clan has a great amount of workers able to fix whatever. The young monks came down from the near by monastery knowing all the wood they could saw and transport would be theirs for the fire . So here they are giggling and playing, laughing and lifting. On the first evening the yard was cleared. The following day the holes left by the huge roots would be filled up. No one arriving here on the 3rd day could have believed what we saw at first.
