What is your tribe?

This is the usual question.
-Which tribe, what do you mean( jelly bean!) ? They mean : Am I part of the Paris clan, the Marseilles’s clan or another village ‘s clan . I was not sure they would know where the Ballyconneely's clan live so we decide I was from the Brittany’s tribe .
