The island is covered by those vines brought by the US soldiers when they were posted it during WWII expecting the Japanese to land! They bring the rampant vine for camouflage . Quite incredible to see 60 years later It covered ecerything! . As the locals do not want to use pesticides to kill it (and kill the land by the same mean ) they can’t do much as it grows quicker than they can dig it out! We need help Marty!
