The Aborigen legendon the coloured sands is as old of the time Back in dream time there lived along the bank of a river a beautiful maiden called Murrawar who feel in love with the rainbow who was visititing her every morning .One day a very bad man from a distant tribe named Burwilla stole Murrawar for his slave woman ; One day she ran away and as she was running along the beach when she saw Burwills boomerang coming to kill her She fell on the beach Sudden she saw her faithful rainbow racing towards her across the sea . The boomerang attacked the brave rainbow who exploded in a thoudsand pieces . The poor rainbow laid on the sand to die and is still there with all his colours along the beach
