We were looking closely to see some Cassowary, a big flightless bird , of the size of a man we heard !Bur we did n’t see any . We didn’t see either any squirrels Glider, s shy tree dweller or any huge tree frogs or the venomous red bellied black snake, or the Boyds forest dragons who looks like mini dinosaurs , not even a possum or the fresh water crocodile or “ freshie”, or the Lumholtz tree Kangaroobut but you can feel they all leave there in the rain forest even if they are not that easy to see ! Butterflies of course as well are easier to spot. They are huge and their colours very vivid as electric blue or jade or gold are of course astonishing for us , Europeans .
