I liked their BYO . Bring your own wine . Spend less and enjoy more type od things . We will ask you 3 or 5 $ for cork but we will provide the ice, the glasses and we will open the bottles for you . I would love to see that in Connemara!

The nature : Magnificent I thought, because so old, so vast, so unspoilt, miles and miles of sandy warm beaches , 2000kms of coral sea , acres and acres and acres of silent bush , hectares of tropical forests, flowers everywhere, fishes of any kinds ( 1500 different ones in the middle of 400 different sorts of coral ) ) and an extraordinary free wildlife to watch . The country is not tamed yet! Some trees are known to be more than 3000 years old. Incredible !

There are some rocks called the “Twelve Apostles” shaped by the sea for more than 20millions years. The Olgas are supposed to be 900 millions years ! Do you realise? Such an old world with such a young and new culture!

As a publicity showing a beach says: “Visitors has an habit to leave things behind around here” . Then you see written on the sand what they leave: “ Stress, monotony, irritations…
It would be difficult to do otherwise and even the Australians do the same !

Yesterday when I was waiting for the door to open to access internet, sat on a bench by the library. A man who had about my age sat by my side. He yawned , stretch and said :

-“Aoww, an other day in paradise !

-The last one for me did I say “

I asked him if he was talking about his own country and he was. Really nice to hear.

Why not ?

The Australians are really cool to look at .

They dress, because of the weather, to go to work, as if they were going to the beach : tongs, shorts, light tops . It a nice way to start the day. Then they just drive. They do not seem to have traffic jam as we do. They start work early and finish early which allows them to practice a sport in the evening (beer testing!) around their patio or swimming pool .

It is difficult to realise that only some 200 years ago it was no town around there when you see their gigantic Melbourne and Sydney and even Brisbane and Perth . Sydney is in fact older than san Francisco or Toronto . The first department store , still doing fine was open there as soon as 1838 and they had a female police officer in 1915. That tell you how fast they act!!!
