And then on the 3rd day , quite suddently a little pink starts to show in the grey .
I was studying the Book on “The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life “ by Drunvalo Melchizedec who said that before the fall of the Atlantis, we used "to breath prana directly through a connecting tube running from the upper apex to the lowerpoint through the body's chakras, mains energy's centers .... The pineal gland is located almost in the center of the head which is a huge center of consciousness because inside of it is stored all the sacred geometries and understandings of exactly how the Reality was created.

Emmanuelle was going to come , then Ann Kelly was tempted but had comittments, then Fidelma almost said Yes but couldn't ....So when I was thinking that one from the irish group would be the first to come and share part of the road well travelled with me , it was not to be . My french brother in law Jean Michel is arriving to night ! That will probably put an end to my severe one week's diet . But we will be wise !
Weather is cloudy and windy for 2 days so I was alone with those 2 dogs last night to sit and watch the troubled sun set! To day , Saturday the 18th , it is the market day of the week and here I am an hour ago with an old islander I couldn't understand all what he said but we aggreed on the fact that if his leg were stronger than mine my belly was flatter than his !

Even the night before we had started to party as we have among us one Rubens so clever that after 24 hours around he was already fishing with the lamp at night with the locals to catch flying fishes! he got a lot of them so we could have a huge barbecue cooked by our argentinian Martin. When adding some chicken legs and tossing some salads we had for plenty . A new Martin and his Louise both from Scotland joined our little group and we had a great feed !!!!
When it is already saturday morning for you it is only friday night around here . Friday is a special day as it is the day the plane is coming from and going back to Fidjis !!! Of course all those young people on the road know this and see the 2 groups of islands when around ! If I had known I would have done the same but with my brothere in law arriving the following day , it was not the week ! This friday night 12 people were leaving , 8 for Nandi , 4 for Auckland . Among them this lovely 22 year's old english girl Jenny whom I find truly exceptionnal, as she was so aware and always helping and serving everyone with a compassion not often seen at such a young age . She was going to spend 2 weeks in Fidji . And Martin and Tina were going back to NZ to catch their plane to Buenos Aires . As their respective planes were leaving at 0 :30 and 1:30 am , we almost all went at 9 to a restaurant very near by the airport for the famous steak night .
There the boss had the great idea to offer a quite big grilled steak with french fries and salad for the very reasonnable price of 10 dollars ( 6 euros 50) and huge bear( 3 glasses) for 5 more dollars. Vegeterians can have huge salads and wedges ! We were 20 and I tell you many beers went down and our friends were ready to sleep when they did board ! Bill , here on the picture with his blue flowered shirt ) our hostel proprietor, came around midnight to bring all the backpacks and pick up some more clients from the arrival's desk and bring back the 8 of us staying on the island . It is nice to watch the locals arrive here as the families are there with so many flowers necklesses and crowns to welcome them ....

I was crowned today to be in the Rarotongan the most dedicated workaholic!
You see me here with my flowered head a bit later at the same place on the same beach for an other beautiful sunset!
See Martin lying on my bed and declaring his love to Tina after we had a long talk about life, love, death and love again ….
I met this man in the resort. He came and talk to me because he couldn’t understand why I was working in such paradise. He is 58 and a very happy kiwi businessman. Happy to have made a "little fortune"did he said, "serving those who have the least." He saw that many relatively poor Maoris were living in the little houses the colons first built on quite a bit of land as they used to play cricket in their garden! As they live as a clan they end up now living many generations on top of each other so he had the idea to offer them big garages that in fact are organised as a home with 3 or 4 bed spaces, a shower and a kitchenette. For a garage they do not need planning permission, so of course they are very tempted by those big sheds sold for 100000 NZ dollars (some 60000 euros) which in fact cost him a third of it to be put up. It is a way for them to be able to keep children grand children and great grand children on the site! He saw it as a great way to feed his own “I” while taking care of others as well, the key WEThe work world is evolving fast around here but nevertheless some truths remain true. I red this week about a guy named Ralph Siu who combine eastern philosophy and modern management.
His guides for “work planning” and “work operation” include those sayings (You are going to love this Rod!)
° The bird hunting the locust is unaware of the hawk hunting him
( never be complacent )
° In shallows waters, shrimps make fun of dragons (know your territory)
° Don’t try to catch two frogs with one hand (set priority, feel flexible)
° Give the birds room to fly (empower your people)
° Do not insult the crocodile before you have crossed the river
(timing and judgement are everything)
° It is better to travel with a sick jackass than carry the wood alone
(delegate)
°Do not throw a stone at a mouse and break the precious vase (focus and channel anger)
° It is not the last blow at the axe that fells the tree (anticipate and deal with problems early)
° The great executive not only brings home the bacon but also the applesauce (work hard but make time for the sweets)
Some nice stuff to ponder on!
