Clifden

Et voilà que sur la Scénic Road qui relie Te Anau à Invercargill , entre Blackmount et Tuatepere un autre Clifden se révèle. Il y a là des caves pas encore développées et donc à explorer avec précaution. On peut y voir des vers luisants en tapisser la paroi. Il y a ausi un pont suspendu construit en 1899. Près de ce pont, un chemin mène à une réserve d’arbres millénaires alors que non loin se trouve aussi le lac le plus profond de NZ , le lac Hauroko.

This southern scenic route is passing through an other CLIFDEN between Blackmount and Tuatapere. A village with a suspension bridge , a turn off to a walking track going through a reserve of 1000 years old trees, near as well the deepest lake in NZ, lake Hauroko .Clifden has as well some caves where to see glow warms . The caves are not yet undeveloped so people should take some precautions before heaving themselves over rocks, shimming through crawl space and climbing ladders in steeped sections. Of course it was not for me but only to see the name Clifden was moving enough .
