Humour irlandais

Sont arrivés à la guest house du Palmy Resort un couple de canadiens accompagné d'un Irlandais . Évidemment ce détail à lui seul valait que nous nous rencontrions au plus tôt. Ce fut organisé par notre hôtesse émoustillée qui voyait déjà en Sean mon nouvel époux potentiel. Archie et Lorna trouvaient ma foi que veufs tous les deux nous pourrions envisager un compagnonnage au moins de voyage . Nous avons commencé par aller, mon pseudo fiancé et moi, traîner à Marari où nous nous sommes vite avoué être très heureux chacun seul de notre côté et n'avoir aucune intention de remariage!! Toutefois, nous avons beaucoup ri surtout quand Sean s'est baigné longuement avec dans la poche de son bermuda plus d'argent qu'il n'en faut pour un mois. Billets enfouis dans le sable chaud , les roupies ont séché au soleil pendant le roupillon . Les 3 compères viennent de me convaincre de les accompagner demain sur la maison- bateau qu'ils ont réservée pour 22 heures . A nous les vieux backpackers, les chics backwaters...

In Palmy guest house arrived a lively guy from Dublin ! Of course we right away felt from the same parish ! He is a great traveller himself . Sean is his name and as he says it is quite easy to remember if you think of James Bond ! He is a kind of James Bond himself if you consider his legs, his teeth, his eye glasses and his tan . He is a bit older than me , a widower as well and we both spent the afternoon at beautiful Marari beach discussing the advantages and disaventages of getting married again . We both agreed that , except if GOD himself send us the perfect joyful, laughing, easy going companion , we were better of on our own with our loving memories . I do not think at all he intended to impress me but he did when he went to swim with his money in his short's pocket and even more when he dried the bills sliding them under the hot sand ...We had great fun . He is travelling at the moment with a quite remarkable Canadian Couple , Archie and Lorna, so the 3 of them convince me to join their tour in the house boat they rent for 24 hours starting to morrow morning.
