On the 5th we were going to stroll around our hotel waiting for the boss to take us downtown at noon, when we met a lovely granny who took our hands and didn’t give us any choice except to follow her. She wanted to show us the laying Bouddha .And the other Bouddha and the monasteries and ... She talked and talked and took us here and there, dragging me along dozens of stairs but we saw what she meant to show us ! Then she led the way to her own hut with not one window where many people (10 or 12 at least) were all packed in the dark 12 square meters.
Her shed was a tin one with bits and pieces of wood but none of the lots hanging to each other was damaged. The family offered us water and grapes. Then the wonderful 84 years old lady decided to bring us back to the hotel. Of course all the neighbours were laughing to see her hand by hand with foreigners. But she was beaming with pride. I am not sure the hotel manager appreciated it but we sat for a while in the swinging banch . She was delighted.
