Les enfants / the kids

Bien sur tous les enfants me guettent et se mettent en position dès que je sors le numérique . Ils aiment faire ce geste qui signifie que tout ira bien, que leur pays s’en sortira parcequ’ls sont là. Le pays vient de fêter ses 25 ans d’indépendance et met en effet tous ses espoirs dans les nouvelles générations. A chaque fois qu’un enfant naît ses parents lui défrichent un jardin pris sur les terres tribales qu’il cultivera jusqu’à sa mort. C’est la garantie qu’il n’aura jamais faim. S’il travaille Sa Terre, Dieu pourvoira à tous ses besoins ; bananes coco ignames et taro et qui garantit. 47% de la population a moins de 15 ans ==============================

The kids of course love to see my camera and are always ready to have their pictures taken. When a child is born here his father must give him a piece of land. He gets it from the common land and work at it to make it usable as a garden that the child will have for his own life to make sure that as long as he works at it God through the land will provide for him and his own family all the basic food : yams, taros, bananas and cocos. The hope of the country lies on the young generations as 47% of the population is under 15. The kids love to lift their thumb as to say : “ We will make it ! Everything will be fine soon ! ”
They do that even when you pass them on the road!!!!
